1:32:58 AP: 9:23 9:30, 9:40, 9:32, 9:25, 9:14, 9:04, 9:03, 9:03, 9:05, 8:47, :52 It never fails on my mid-week long runs, I don't sleep well. So goes last night. I was afraid I was going to miss my alarm. I was WIDE awake at 4:15am. It was a beautiful morning outside. I ran 5 miles up the rec center loop. Surprisingly, I felt super. I went up those few hilly miles much faster than I normally do. I wasn't breathing hard and it felt effortless. I'm a bit worried I did this run too fast. (maybe I shouldn't do my speed workout tomorrow???)
I took a GU at mile 5 and charged back down the hills. It was weird....I would run through pockets of really warm air, then instantly it would be cooler again. The only bad part about the run today was the mouse that ran in front of me...ewwwwwww! Stretch and foam roll Hope to do some planks and LLL later this evening.
