But the problem is that many runners forget all of the steps between the first one and the goal.  If your goal is to run under two hours for the half marathon then you need to be honest about all of the little steps to get to that goal.

I was up at 5am this morning walking the 'hood.  We had lots of activities tonight and I wanted to get a workout in.  Though it was torturous to drag my hiney out of bed, I really enjoyed my walk.

The air smelled SO clean after our big rainstorm last night.  Though it was quiet from cars and such, the birds seemed extra loud.  The sunrise was an unbelievable pink against the super green mountains. 

I was reminded why I love getting up before the world gets crazy.  Non-the-less, I am discouraged that I am unable to run more (1 minute here and 1 minute there).  All my running friends are RUNNING - racing too.  And I am walking.  Urghhh....  My patience is wearing really thin!

3 miles walking on treadmill - 45 minutes (ran 1 minute) and ankle still feels good.  Tomorrow, I'm going to try 2 minutes.

Saw lady wearing really bad hair extensions at gym.  I'm not against extensions, but with the pounds of makeup on her face and hooker pink crazy outfit it was hard not to notice her.

45 minutes walking on treadmill - 3 miles (2x1minute run)

I was planning on going to spin today, but they started the class 15 minutes early.  Urghh....  Ankle feels really great.  Tomorrow I am going to try 3x1 minute  run.
