So I feel like I've been hit by a truck!  Everything (bones, tendons, muscles) from my knee down hurts.  I didn't realize how many crooks and cranies could hurt. Is this normal?  Why do I run to feel like this?

 I feel like crawling in a pool of Advil, drinking a Cherry Coke, and never returning to civilization again.  (PF does feel better today...wore my fancy socks and taped my foot).

Sorry all the nooks and cranies hurt, but would you believe me if I say it does get better? Some of it may be the steroids too - honestly they never make me feel good.

So, I caught up on your blog today and I noticed that you and I are both dancing with tendonitis and PF! Will you share your docs advice on the PF? I'm doing frozen coke bottle rolling, frozen golf ball rolling, stretching, sleeping in the sock and once a night I dunk my foot in an ice water bucket. Only thing I'm not doing is cutting miles and resting :) It's better than last week (with lower miles), but maybe staying consistent this week, which with higher miles I count as a success. I will take down miles next week, but want a pile this week to top out for SGM.

How did you feel sleeping in the sock? I did great the first night, but tightened it a bit the 2nd night and took it off at 2:30 :) You may have to show me how to tape my foot too. My PT apt isn't for another week+ :(

Keep on keepin' on! It will get better. This week and next are the WORST in a training cycle. Live through them and you will do great at SGM. Just know it's almost taper time...almost taper time!

Oh, are you game for a few miles this Saturday? Lehi parkway? indifferent on time.
